I’m still in the afterglow of my time on Haley Farm. For those who have never been, it is like being in a dream where people you know from different parts of your life are in the same place harmoniously. It is clear that I will be unpacking this trip for some time (and in this virtual place prolly) but the point I want to sit with right now is a word that Rev. Dr. Otis Moss Jr. shared with us. He spoke about the need to “commit ourselves to something stronger than death.” His words resonate with my belief that the work of justice is a joyful work.
